What Our Customers Think
Why We Love Centerport, NY
About Centerport
Centerport, New York, is a hamlet located in Suffolk County, on the North Shore of Long Island. Its history dates back to the late 17th century when English colonists first settled in the area. Originally known as Little Cow Harbor, the community was renamed Centerport in the mid-19th century due to its central location between the towns of Huntington and Northport. The area was primarily rural until the 20th century when it began to develop into a more residential community. Today, Centerport is known for its scenic beauty, waterfront properties, and the Vanderbilt Museum, which is a historic mansion built by William K. Vanderbilt II in the early 20th century.
